Six Stars
A short film written, directed and produced by Todd Wiseman Jr. Milo Machado-Graner plays Mathieu, a French teenager on a rampage in Florida. Filmed in Tampa, the story brings the logic of a video game into a recognisable American landscape. Action moves quickly; its consequences do not disappear when the screen goes dark. The film examines the entertainment value assigned to violence and the uneasy distance between watching and participating.
